Welcome to Mrs. Palino & Mrs. Volpe's 5th grade class!

 

     It is our pleasure to welcome you and your child to 5th grade! We are very excited to start a new school year which will be filled with many adventures and learning experiences. We are committed to making sure that your child will also develop more independence along with greater responsibilities in preparation for his or her transition to middle school.

     Our philosophy for teaching is based upon the premise that each child is unique and each child learns in a different way.  It is our ultimate goal to provide your child with a creative, positive, and nurturing environment in which he or she will thrive academically.

​

     As 5th grade teachers, we encourage all students to be the best they can be and work to the best of their ability. It is also an expectation that they complete their assignments in a manner which reflects care and pride in their work.

​

    We are looking forward to working together and communicating with you in order to create a positive experience, therefore it is our responsibility and pleasure to open our doors to you.  We welcome any questions in hopes that we can help you and your child to have a remarkable fifth grade year.
